Pay Rate: $15.00 per hour
Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and physically fit individual to fill a seasonal Laundry Associate / Runner position. This role supports daily operations by transporting materials and assisting within the laundry facility. The ideal candidate is dependable, works at a fast pace, and is comfortable performing physically demanding tasks in a team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Ride with company staff to deliver linen bags to various vacation homes and beach properties
- Transport laundry and supplies between designated locations as needed
- Assist in the laundry facility with:
- Sorting laundry
- Operating washers and dryers
- Folding linens and placing them into bags
- Load, unload, and carry linen bags weighing up to 40 lbs onto delivery trucks
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas
- Assist with additional duties as seasonal business demands increase
Schedule & Work Environment
- Monday through Thursday schedule with rotating responsibilities
- Off Friday and Sunday
- Saturday deliveries are required for all North Carolina beach routes
- Delivery routes may include beaches throughout North Carolina, with travel times averaging approximately 45 minutes
- Hours may vary depending on seasonal demand and workload
- Overtime may be available during peak season
Requirements
- Must be able to lift and carry bags weighing up to 40 lbs regularly
- Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work well as part of a team and follow directions
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Valid driver’s license preferred
- Candidates of any build are encouraged to apply, provided they are physically capable of handling the lifting requirements
- Comfortable working in non-temperature regulated environment
