Yard Associate – Monroe, NC (28110)

$17/hr | 1st Shift (6:00am – 3:30pm) With opportunity for overtime.

We are currently hiring a Yard Associate for a busy outdoor yard operation in Monroe, NC. This position is ideal for someone with experience in a lumber yard, construction supply yard, or industrial environment who is comfortable working outdoors and operating equipment.

Position Summary

The Yard Associate works outdoors organizing, staging, and moving materials throughout the yard while maintaining safety, efficiency, and cleanliness standards.

Responsibilities:

• Organize, stage, and inventory materials in the yard
• Operate a forklift to move, stack, and position materials
• Use a chainsaw to cut wood as needed
• Assist with loading and unloading trucks
• Maintain yard safety, cleanliness, and organization standards
• Work in various outdoor weather conditions

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a yard, lumber, construction supply, or similar industrial environment
• Forklift operating experience
• Experience using a chainsaw or similar cutting equipment
• Ability to lift 50–75 lbs consistently
• Comfortable working outdoors for extended periods
• Reliable transportation required
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
