Pay: Starting at $18.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday through Friday, starting at 6:00 AM. Occasional Saturdays may be required. Workweeks may range from approximately 45 to 60 hours based on production needs.

Job Summary
We are seeking dependable Roof Truss Builders to join a production team in Raleigh, NC. This position is responsible for assembling roof trusses by placing lumber components, plates, chords, blocks, and webs into proper configurations according to cut sheets and job specifications. This is a hands-on role that requires reliability, teamwork, attention to detail, and the ability to work safely in a fast-paced production environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble roof trusses according to cut sheets, layouts, and job specifications
- Place chords, webs, blocks, and plates in the correct positions
- Ensure joints are tight, plates are properly positioned, and materials meet quality standards
- Identify and report damaged, poor-quality, or incorrect lumber to a supervisor
- Use basic tools such as hammers, tape measures, and other production tools
- Safely operate job-related equipment as trained
- Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout the shift
- Follow all safety procedures and workplace guidelines
- Work cooperatively with team members and supervisors to meet production goals
Qualifications
- No specific education requirement
- Previous truss building, lumber, construction, assembly, or production experience is helpful but not required
- Inexperienced candidates are welcome to apply
- Ability to use basic hand tools and follow work instructions
- Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically active work
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds as needed
- Comfortable working in an open-air production environment with possible exposure to heat, cold, rain, or other weather conditions
