Signage Technician

Job Title: Signage Technician

Location: Myrtle Beach, SC
Pay: $18–$25 per hour (based on experience)
Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday–Friday, Day Shift
Typical Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (based on business needs)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Signage Technician for a commercial signage role in the Myrtle Beach area. This position is responsible for the installation, servicing, removal, and repair of interior and exterior commercial signage at various customer locations.

Candidates with bucket truck experience are strongly preferred. The ideal candidate is comfortable working outdoors, at heights, and handling a variety of installation tools and equipment in a fast-paced field environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install interior and exterior commercial signage at customer locations
  • Perform sign servicing, repairs, removals, replacements, and maintenance work
  • Operate or assist with bucket truck operations (if qualified)
  • Install channel letters, sign cabinets, panels, posts, lighting components, and related hardware
  • Load, unload, transport, and organize signage materials, tools, and equipment
  • Read and interpret work orders, measurements, site notes, and installation instructions
  • Safely use ladders, lifts, hand tools, and power tools
  • Work outdoors in varying weather conditions and job site environments
  • Communicate professionally with customers and team members on-site
  • Follow all safety procedures related to working at heights and around electrical/mechanical equipment

Qualifications

  • Prior sign installation experience preferred
  • Bucket truck experience strongly preferred
  • Experience with commercial signage, exterior installations, removals, or lighting repair is a plus
  • Comfortable working outdoors and at elevated heights
  • Ability to safely operate ladders, lifts, and standard hand/power tools
  • Basic electrical or lighting knowledge is a plus
  • Valid driver’s license preferred
  • Dependable, safety-focused, and team-oriented
  • Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy materials as required
  • Must be available to work full-time, Monday–Friday
