Receptionist / Administrative Assistant

Location: Carolina Forest, Myrtle Beach, SC
Employment Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
Pay: $12-$15/H based on experience

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable, professional, and organized Receptionist / Administrative Assistant to support daily operations for a staffing company in Carolina Forest, Myrtle Beach, SC. This position is an important front-office role and serves as one of the first points of contact for applicants, employees, clients, and visitors.

The ideal candidate will have a friendly and professional attitude, strong communication skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced office environment. This role will assist with front desk duties, applicant onboarding, background checks, drug testing coordination, administrative paperwork, and other office support tasks as needed.

Must be Bi-lingual (English/Spanish)

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet applicants, employees, clients, and visitors in a professional and welcoming manner
  • Answer and direct phone calls, emails, and general inquiries
  • Assist applicants with applications, onboarding paperwork, and required employment forms
  • Schedule interviews, appointments, background check steps, and drug testing
  • Verify applicant information and ensure all required documents are filed accurately
  • Maintain organized applicant and employee files, both physical and digital
  • Enter and update candidate, employee, and client information in company systems
  • Support recruiters, office staff, and management with administrative tasks
  • Help maintain an organized front desk, reception area, and office supply inventory
  • Assist wherever needed to help keep daily office operations running smoothly

Qualifications

  • Previous receptionist, administrative assistant, staffing, HR, or customer service experience preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Professional phone etiquette
  • Excellent organization and attention to detail
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
  • Comfortable using computers, email, office software, printers, scanners, and online systems
  • Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy office environment
  • Dependable, punctual, and willing to help in different areas as needed

Physical Requirements

Ability to sit, stand, and move around the office during the workday

Ability to use a computer, phone, printer, scanner, and other office equipment

Ability to occasionally lift office supplies, files, or paperwork up to 25 lbs
