Position Overview

We are seeking a dependable Pool Chemical Delivery Helper to assist with the safe delivery and transfer of pool chemicals to residential and commercial properties. This position will support the driver by handling hoses, preparing delivery areas, and assisting with filling designated chemical storage drums.

The ideal candidate will be safety-conscious, physically capable, dependable, and comfortable working outdoors.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the delivery driver during assigned pool chemical deliveries.
• Pull and position delivery hoses from the truck to designated chemical storage areas.
• Assist with safely filling approved chemical storage drums.
• Inspect hoses and delivery equipment for visible damage before and after use.
• Help secure hoses, tools, and equipment after each delivery.
• Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle and work area.
• Follow all chemical-handling instructions and safety procedures.
• Wear required personal protective equipment during chemical deliveries.
• Immediately report spills, damaged equipment, unsafe conditions, or customer concerns.
• Assist with loading and unloading supplies as directed.
• Follow all instructions provided by the delivery driver or supervisor.
• Perform other delivery support duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous delivery helper, warehouse, outdoor labor, or chemical-handling experience is preferred.
• Ability to follow detailed safety instructions.
• Dependable attendance and punctuality are required.
• Ability to work effectively with a driver and other team members.
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
• Must be comfortable working near properly secured pool chemicals.
• Reliable transportation to the designated reporting location is required.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift, carry, pull, and position delivery hoses and related equipment.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive movements.
• Ability to work outdoors in heat, humidity, and changing weather conditions.
• Ability to wear required personal protective equipment throughout chemical transfers.
