An established property management company is seeking a reliable and motivated Maintenance Technician to support daily operations at an upscale resort property in North Myrtle Beach. This position is ideal for candidates with general maintenance, handyman, janitorial, or property upkeep experience looking for stable, long-term employment with growth opportunities.

This is a full-time, year-round position with the opportunity to become a permanent employee based on performance, attendance, and business needs.

Schedule

• Saturday through Wednesday
• 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• One-hour lunch break
• 40 hours per week

Pay & Opportunity

• Starting pay: $18.00 per hour
• Potential pay increase after 90 days based on performance

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repair tasks throughout the property
• Patch, repair, and paint drywall as needed
• Complete basic electrical troubleshooting and minor repairs
• Identify HVAC-related issues and coordinate vendor repairs when necessary
• Maintain cleanliness of common areas, restrooms, exterior grounds, and pool areas
• Remove litter and help maintain a clean and professional property appearance
• Report maintenance or safety concerns to management
• Safely use hand tools, ladders, and maintenance equipment
• Support overall property operations as needed

Qualifications

• Previous maintenance, facilities, handyman, janitorial, or property maintenance experience preferred
• Basic knowledge of drywall repair, painting, minor electrical work, and general repairs
• Ability to work independently and stay organized throughout the workday
• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic required
• Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions

Requirements

• Must be able to pass a background check
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening
• Must have reliable transportation to and from work
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials and equipment as needed
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift
