Journeyman Electrician

Pay: $22 – $25/hr
Location: Raleigh-Durham, NC

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Journeyman Electrician to join our team. This role is ideal for electricians who have strong hands-on experience and are ready to take the next step in their career by leading small crews and handling day-to-day electrical installations.

You will play a key role in executing electrical work across commercial and industrial projects while ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency on the job site.

Key Responsibilities

• Install electrical systems including panels, disconnects, lighting, and devices
• Perform wire pulling, terminations, and conduit installation (bend, cut, thread)
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues in the field
• Read and follow blueprints and basic electrical layouts
• Lead and direct 1–3 helpers on job sites
• Ensure all work is completed in compliance with NEC and safety standards
• Maintain tools, materials, and a clean, organized job site

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of electrical experience
• Experience in commercial and/or industrial environments preferred
• Basic ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Strong knowledge of conduit, wiring, and installations
• Ability to lead small crews and stay productive
• OSHA 10 preferred
• Must have own tools and reliable transportation
