Housekeeping Supervisor - Resort

Position Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to lead, train, and support our housekeeping team while ensuring every guest room meets the exceptional cleanliness and presentation standards of our resort. This is a hands-on leadership position that combines supervision, training, quality inspections, and team support to deliver an outstanding guest experience.

The ideal candidate is an experienced housekeeper with leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for mentoring others.

Primary Responsibilities

• Train and onboard new housekeeping associates on resort cleaning procedures, safety practices, and guest service expectations.
• Provide ongoing coaching and support to help housekeepers improve efficiency and maintain high-quality work.
• Inspect guest rooms and public areas to ensure they meet resort cleanliness, sanitation, and presentation standards.
• Assist housekeepers with room cleaning when needed, especially during high occupancy or staffing shortages.
• Ensure all assigned rooms are cleaned, inspected, and ready for guest arrivals on schedule.
• Identify cleaning deficiencies and provide immediate coaching and corrective guidance.
• Monitor housekeeping productivity and quality while maintaining positive team morale.
• Coordinate with the Front Desk and Maintenance departments regarding room status and maintenance issues.
• Maintain housekeeping supplies and report inventory needs.
• Enforce all company policies, safety procedures, and brand standards.
• Handle guest requests and resolve housekeeping concerns professionally and promptly.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor, Lead Housekeeper, or experienced Housekeeper in a hotel or resort.
• Strong leadership, training, and coaching abilities.
• Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining luxury-level cleanliness standards.
• Ability to motivate and support a diverse team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform physical housekeeping duties when necessary.
• Availability to work weekends and holidays.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus but not required.
