Housekeeper / Residential Cleaner

Location: Ocean Isle Beach, NC 28469
Pay: $16.00 per hour
Schedule: 1st Shift, weekday and weekend work based on company needs
Work Hours: 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Hours: May vary depending on assignment and workload

Job Summary

We are seeking dependable and detail-oriented Housekeepers / Residential Cleaners to assist with cleaning residential properties in the Ocean Isle Beach area. This position requires traveling from location to location throughout the workday, so candidates must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

The ideal candidate takes pride in creating clean, polished, and welcoming spaces while following instructions, working efficiently, and maintaining a professional attitude.

Responsibilities

Duties may include, but are not limited to:

• Cleaning bathrooms, including sinks, toilets, showers, tubs, mirrors, and floors
• Cleaning kitchens, including countertops, sinks, appliance surfaces, cabinets, and floors
• Polishing furniture and surfaces
• Vacuuming carpets, rugs, and flooring
• Mopping hard floors
• Cleaning glass doors and other glass surfaces
• Resetting beds with comforters as instructed
• Removing trash and replacing liners as needed
• Restocking basic supplies when required
• Following assigned cleaning checklists and company procedures
• Reporting maintenance issues, damages, or supply needs to the appropriate supervisor
• Traveling between assigned residential cleaning locations as needed

Please note: Bed making is not required for these assignments. Beds may only need to be reset with comforters.

Requirements

• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Must have reliable transportation to travel from location to location
• Must have slip-resistant shoes
• Must be dependable and able to report to scheduled shifts on time
• Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions
• Must be comfortable performing repetitive cleaning tasks
• Prior housekeeping, residential cleaning, hotel cleaning, or janitorial experience is preferred but not required
• Must be able to work weekday and weekend shifts based on company needs

Physical Requirements

This position may require the ability to:

• Stand, walk, bend, reach, push, pull, and lift during the shift
• Perform repetitive cleaning motions
• Lift and carry cleaning supplies or equipment as needed
• Work around standard household cleaning products
• Move safely between different rooms and residential properties
