Forklift Operator - Railcar Loader

Pay: $18.00 per hour

Schedule: Tuesday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM

Position Overview

We are seeking dependable and safety-focused Forklift Operators to assist with loading railcars in a fast-paced industrial and warehouse environment in Linwood, NC. This is a temporary assignment expected to last approximately six weeks, with the potential for long-term employment opportunities based on performance, attendance, and operational needs.

The ideal candidate will have prior forklift experience, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work safely and efficiently in an active industrial setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move and load materials
• Assist with loading railcars accurately and according to operational procedures
• Load, unload, stage, and transport materials throughout the facility
• Follow all company safety procedures and workplace policies
• Conduct routine equipment inspections and report maintenance concerns
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to meet production goals

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of previous forklift operator experience required
• Previous experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or industrial environment preferred
• Valid driver’s license required
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standards
• Strong attendance and reliability required
• Ability to lift, move, and handle materials as needed throughout the shift
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks during extended shifts
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
