Experienced Journeyman Electrician

Pay: $25 – $27/hr
Location: Raleigh-Durham, NC

About the Role

We are hiring an experienced Experienced Journeyman Electrician who can work independently, interpret plans, and support project execution at a high level. This role is best suited for electricians who are confident in their skills and can take ownership of their work with minimal supervision.

You will work closely with foremen and crews to ensure projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to code.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and layouts
• Plan and execute conduit runs, wire sizing, and system layouts
• Install panels, transformers, switchgear, and electrical devices
• Diagnose and resolve complex electrical issues
• Support project coordination alongside foremen or leads
• Ensure all work meets NEC and safety standards

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of electrical experience
• Strong experience in commercial and/or industrial projects
• Proven ability to read blueprints and work independently
• Advanced knowledge of conduit, wiring methods, and system layout
• Ability to lead by example and assist with crew direction when needed
• OSHA 10 required (OSHA 30 is a plus)
• Must have own tools and reliable transportation
