Pay Rate: $22.00 per hour
Shift: 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Schedule: Full-time | Weekends & Holidays Required
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Experienced Cook to join a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant team in Myrtle Beach, SC. This role is ideal for someone who thrives under pressure, takes pride in food quality, and can efficiently manage multiple stations during peak service.
The ideal candidate is team-oriented, detail-focused, and capable of maintaining speed, accuracy, and consistency in a high-energy kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, cook, and plate menu items following established recipes and quality standards
- Operate and manage multiple kitchen stations including chargrill, griddle, sauté, and fryers
- Maintain consistency, speed, and accuracy during high-volume service periods
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and kitchen procedures
- Assist with food prep, stocking, station setup, and closing tasks
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace at all times
- Communicate effectively with kitchen leadership and team members during service
- Support a scratch-made kitchen environment focused on quality and teamwork
- Assist with pizza dough preparation and pizza cooking when needed, if experienced
- Work scheduled shifts, including weekends and holidays
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience as a cook in a restaurant, hospitality, or high-volume food service environment
- Hands-on experience with grills, griddles, sauté stations, and fryers
- Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced setting
- Ability to follow verbal instructions and communicate in English during active service
- Strong work ethic with reliability and punctuality
- Availability to work the 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM shift, including weekends and holidays
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a hot kitchen environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in a scratch-made kitchen
- Experience in high-volume environments such as restaurants, hotels, or resorts
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the shift
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull kitchen items as needed
- Ability to safely work around hot equipment, sharp tools, and kitchen machinery
- Ability to perform all essential duties with or without reasonable accommodation
Compensation
$22 per hour
