Location: Myrtle Beach, SC 29572
Shift: 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM
Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour
Schedule: Weekends and holidays required

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Cook for a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant environment in Myrtle Beach, SC. This position is ideal for someone with hands-on cooking experience who can work efficiently across multiple kitchen areas during busy service.

The ideal candidate will be dependable, team-oriented, and able to maintain quality, speed, and accuracy in a high-volume kitchen. This role requires the ability to follow real-time kitchen instructions, communicate clearly with kitchen leadership, and support a scratch-made food service environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, and plate food according to established recipes, procedures, and quality standards
• Work with chargrill, griddles, sauté stations, and fryers
• Maintain speed, accuracy, and consistency during high-volume service
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and kitchen procedures
• Assist with food prep, stocking, station setup, and closing duties as needed
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and ready for service
• Communicate clearly with kitchen leadership and team members during active service
• Support a scratch-made kitchen environment where food quality and teamwork are important
• Assist with pizza dough and pizza preparation when needed, if experienced
• Work weekends and holidays as scheduled

Required Qualifications

• Previous cook experience in a restaurant, hospitality, or high-volume food service environment
• Experience using chargrill, griddles, sauté stations, and fryers
• Ability to work quickly, safely, and accurately during busy service periods
• Ability to understand and respond to basic kitchen instructions in English during active service
• Ability to follow verbal instructions in real time in a fast-paced kitchen environment
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work the scheduled 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM shift
• Must be available to work weekends and holidays
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a hot, active kitchen environment, with or without reasonable accommodation

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience rolling pizza dough and preparing pizzas is a plus
• Experience in a scratch-made kitchen is a plus
• Experience working in a high-volume restaurant, hotel, resort, or similar food service setting is a plus
