Job Summary
We are seeking dependable and motivated individuals for a Seasonal Full-Time Driver/Runner position supporting linen delivery and laundry operations. This role involves transporting and delivering linens to vacation homes and beach properties, while also supporting laundry production within the facility during the week.
The ideal candidate is reliable, works well in a fast-paced environment, has a valid driver’s license and a good driving record, and can safely perform physically demanding tasks as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with delivery routes to vacation homes and beach properties.
Drive and deliver linens and supplies as needed, especially on Saturday delivery routes.
Ride and travel with delivery staff to transport linens and supplies between designated locations.
Load and unload linen bags and materials onto delivery vehicles.
Support laundry facility operations during the week.
Be cross-trained with other departments as needed.
Sort, wash, dry, fold, and pack linen bags inside the facility during the week.
Maintain clean and organized work areas.
Support additional duties and operational needs during peak seasonal demand.
Follow company procedures and maintain safety standards during deliveries and facility operations.
Work Environment & Schedule Details
Full-time seasonal position.
Saturday deliveries are required for North Carolina beach routes.
Delivery routes may include travel throughout North Carolina beach areas, with average travel times of approximately 45 minutes.
Hours may vary based on seasonal business demands and workload.
Fast-paced, physically active work environment.
Must be comfortable working both on delivery routes and inside the laundry facility.
Qualifications & Requirements
Valid driver’s license required.
Must have a good driving record.
Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
Ability to regularly lift and carry bags weighing up to 40 lbs.
Must be comfortable performing physically demanding work throughout the shift.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attendance and reliability required.
Ability to work well in a team environment and follow instructions.
Willingness to be cross-trained in other departments and assist with sorting, washing, drying, folding, and packing bags in the facility during the week.
