Mover / Driver

Location: Jacksonville, FL 32220
Pay: Starting at $17.00 per hour
Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM until completion of daily assignments. Must be available to work weekends as needed.

Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Mover/Driver to join our team. This position is responsible for safely transporting customer belongings, assisting with loading and unloading, and providing excellent customer service throughout the moving process.

The ideal candidate is reliable, team-oriented, physically capable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. This role requires professionalism, attention to detail, and the ability to perform physically demanding work on a regular basis.

Key Responsibilities

Safely operate a box truck for residential and commercial moves.
Load, unload, pack, and transport customer belongings with care.
Secure items properly to help prevent damage during transportation.
Assist customers during moving and relocation services in a professional and respectful manner.
Use equipment such as pallet jacks, dollies, and moving tools safely and effectively.
Maintain accurate delivery, moving, or inventory records as needed.
Follow all company safety procedures and applicable transportation guidelines.
Work closely with team members to complete moves efficiently and on time.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of trucks, equipment, and work areas.
Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

Valid driver’s license required.
Must be at least 21 years old.
Must successfully pass a 3-year motor vehicle record check.
Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull items up to 50 lbs. regularly.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
Ability to work Monday through Friday starting at 7:00 AM until daily assignments are completed.
Must be available to work weekends as needed.
Must be able to work in a physically active role that may include standing, bending, lifting, and moving throughout the shift.

Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience in moving, delivery driving, warehouse operations, logistics, or a similar role preferred.
Experience using pallet jacks, dollies, forklifts, or other moving equipment is a plus.
Commercial driving experience is helpful but not required.
