Delivery Helper

Pay Rate: $19.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday
Shift: 6:30 AM – Until Finish
Overtime: Optional Saturdays Available
Job Type: Full-Time

Position Overview

We are seeking dependable and motivated Delivery Helpers to assist with the delivery and unloading of materials at customer and job site locations. This position works alongside delivery drivers to ensure materials are safely transported, unloaded, and placed according to customer or site requirements.

The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, reliable, and comfortable performing physically active work in both indoor and outdoor environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Ride along with delivery drivers to customer locations and job sites.
• Assist with loading and unloading materials from delivery vehicles.
• Safely move, carry, and position materials as directed.
• Help verify delivery contents and maintain accurate delivery documentation when required.
• Follow all company safety procedures and site-specific safety requirements.
• Maintain a professional attitude when interacting with customers and job site personnel.
• Keep work areas and delivery vehicles organized and free of safety hazards.
• Assist with additional warehouse or delivery-related tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous delivery, warehouse, material handling, construction, or general labor experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Strong attention to safety and safe material handling practices.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.
• Ability to follow directions and complete assigned tasks efficiently.
• Spanish language skills are helpful but not required.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to perform physically demanding work throughout the shift.
• Frequent lifting of 80lbs or more, carrying, pushing, pulling, bending, kneeling, and walking.
• Ability to handle materials safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work in both indoor and outdoor conditions, including varying weather conditions.

Safety Requirements

• Steel-toe boots are required and must be provided by the employee.
• Hard hat use is required when working on designated job sites.
• Additional personal protective equipment (PPE) may be required based on job site requirements.
