Customer Service Associate

Retail Customer Service Associate

Location: Ocean Isle Beach, NC
Pay: $15.00 per hour
Job Type: Full-Time

Schedule & Availability

Candidates must be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends.

Store Hours:

  • Monday – Friday: 8:00 AM – 6:30 PM
  • Saturday: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM
  • Sunday: 11:00 AM – 4:00 PM

About the Position

We are seeking dependable, customer-focused individuals to join a locally owned shipping and printing business in Ocean Isle Beach, NC. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys helping customers, staying busy throughout the day, and working in a fast-paced retail environment.

As a Retail Customer Service Associate, you will assist customers with shipping, printing, and retail services while helping maintain a welcoming and organized store environment. Providing friendly, accurate, and efficient service is the top priority in this role.

Previous experience in shipping or printing is helpful but not required. Training will be provided for the right candidate.

Applicants residing in Ocean Isle Beach, Calabash, Sunset Beach, Little River, Longs, North Myrtle Beach, and surrounding communities are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist customers in a friendly, professional, and courteous manner.
  • Process shipping transactions and accurately operate the point-of-sale (POS) system.
  • Assist customers with printing, copying, scanning, and other document-related services.
  • Package, label, and sort shipments according to company and carrier guidelines.
  • Recommend products and services based on customer needs.
  • Maintain store cleanliness, organization, and overall presentation.
  • Open and/or close the store according to established procedures.
  • Support team members and assist with daily operational tasks as needed.
  • Follow company policies and provide a positive customer experience during every interaction.

Qualifications

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-service mindset.
  • Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office, email, and internet navigation.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Dependable, organized, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and safely lift, carry, and move packages weighing up to 75 pounds.
  • Previous experience in retail, customer service, shipping, printing, or a related field is preferred but not required.
