Common Area Cleaning Associate
Location: Myrtle Beach, SC
Pay: $15.00 per hour
Schedule
Training / Off-Season:
Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Peak Season (approximately starting Memorial Day):
Monday – Friday, 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM
Schedule may vary based on business needs.
Position Summary
We are seeking a reliable, responsible, and detail-oriented individual to join our cleaning team in a high-end residential community. This role focuses exclusively on maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of shared common areas used by residents and guests.
Note: This is not a hotel housekeeping position. Responsibilities are limited to common/public areas and do not include cleaning private residential units.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain common areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and shared amenities
- Ensure all spaces remain clean, sanitized, and presentable at all times
- Restock supplies in common areas as needed
- Follow established cleaning procedures and safety guidelines
- Report maintenance or safety concerns to the appropriate team members
- Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when in resident-facing areas
Qualifications
- Previous experience in cleaning, maintenance, or related work is preferred but not required
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness standards
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift during the shift
Dress Code
- Khaki or navy dress pants
- Polo shirt in khaki, navy, or white
- Some uniform items may be provided depending on assignment
