3rd Shift Stamping Helper

Location: Gastonia, NC 28056
Pay: Starting at $17.00/hour
Shift: Friday – Sunday | 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM

We are seeking dependable and motivated Stamping Helpers to join a growing metal manufacturing team. In this role, you will assist with the production of metal components by supporting stamping press operations, handling materials, inspecting finished parts, and maintaining a safe, organized work environment. Responsibilities

• Assist operators with the setup and operation of stamping presses.
• Load and unload sheet metal and other materials into production equipment.
• Remove, stack, palletize, and label finished metal components.
• Perform visual quality inspections to ensure parts meet specifications.
• Use basic measuring tools such as tape measures and calipers.
• Keep machines supplied with materials to maintain production flow.
• Report equipment issues or quality concerns to supervisors.
• Assist with tooling changes and production changeovers when needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow all company safety procedures and wear required PPE.
• Support production goals by working efficiently with team members.

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing or production experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic measurements.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to follow written and verbal work instructions.
• Mechanical aptitude is a plus.
• Reliable attendance and dependable work ethic.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to frequently lift and move up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, and reach throughout the shift.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks using hands and arms.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment around moving equipment while following all safety guidelines.
