2nd Shift Powder Coat Unloader

Shift: Monday – Thursday | 5:30 PM – 4:00 AM
Location: Gastonia, NC 28056
Pay: Starting at $17.00/hour (DOE)

Job Overview

We are seeking dependable Powder Coat Unloaders to join a manufacturing team in Gastonia, NC. This position supports powder coat operations by unloading finished components from the paint line, performing quality checks, organizing completed parts, and ensuring products move efficiently through the finishing process.

Essential Responsibilities

• Remove finished powder-coated parts from the production line.
• Perform visual inspections to identify coating defects, damage, or quality concerns.
• Sort, stack, package, and prepare completed parts for the next stage of production.
• Verify part counts, labels, and production requirements.
• Handle components safely to prevent damage to finished products.
• Assist with maintaining a steady production flow.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of safety hazards.
• Follow all safety procedures and required PPE guidelines.
• Support other paint department activities as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing, warehouse, or production experience preferred.
• Experience in powder coating, painting, fabrication, or finishing environments is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify quality issues.
• Ability to follow work instructions and production requirements.
• Reliable attendance and willingness to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to perform repetitive lifting, reaching, bending, and handling of materials.
• Ability to wear required PPE in a manufacturing environment.
