2nd Shift Hand Stamping Operator

Location: Gastonia, NC 28056

Shift: Monday – Thursday | 5:30 PM – 4:00 AM
Pay: Starting at $17.00/hour (DOE)

Job Overview

We are seeking dependable Hand Stamping Operators to join a growing metal manufacturing team in Gastonia, NC. This position is responsible for operating hand stamping equipment to mark, form, and inspect metal components while maintaining production quality and safety standards. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Essential Responsibilities

• Operate manual and pneumatic hand stamping equipment.
• Load, position, and remove metal parts from stamping fixtures.
• Stamp part numbers, identification marks, or other required information onto metal components.
• Perform visual inspections to ensure parts meet quality standards.
• Use basic measuring tools to verify dimensions and specifications.
• Sort, stack, label, and package finished products.
• Report equipment malfunctions or quality concerns to supervision.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Follow all company safety policies and wear required PPE.
• Perform other production-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing or production experience is preferred but not required.
• Experience operating hand presses, pneumatic presses, or similar manufacturing equipment is a plus.
• Ability to read work instructions and use basic measuring tools such as a tape measure or calipers.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable attendance and willingness to work overtime when needed.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to frequently lift and move up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive hand movements throughout the shift.
• Ability to work safely around manufacturing equipment while wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE).
