Pay: $19.60 per hour
Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Sunday through Thursday, either 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM or 3:30 PM to 1:30 AM
Overtime: Must be available to work Fridays when needed

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Crown Electric Pallet Jack Operator to support warehouse shipping, receiving, and order fulfillment operations. This position requires strong experience operating Crown electric pallet jacks and using RF scanners in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, dependable, comfortable working around warehouse traffic, and able to accurately move, scan, stage, and organize products. Candidates must successfully complete a written equipment and safety quiz, as well as a hands-on driving skills evaluation.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate Crown electric pallet jacks throughout the warehouse.
• Use RF scanning equipment to locate, scan, pick, stage, and move products.
• Accurately verify product numbers, quantities, labels, and warehouse locations.
• Load, unload, and transport pallets to designated storage or staging areas.
• Prepare orders for shipment according to warehouse procedures.
• Inspect the electric pallet jack before each shift and report any safety or mechanical concerns.
• Maintain safe travel speeds and remain alert to pedestrians, equipment, and warehouse traffic.
• Keep aisles, loading areas, and workstations clean and free of hazards.
• Follow all warehouse safety policies, operating procedures, and productivity expectations.
• Report damaged products, incorrect inventory, or location discrepancies to a supervisor.
• Assist with general warehouse duties as assigned.
• Work overtime on Fridays when business needs require it.

Required Qualifications

• At least three years of recent experience operating an electric pallet jack in a warehouse or distribution environment.
• At least three years of experience using RF scanners for inventory, picking, or order fulfillment.
• Previous experience operating Crown-brand electric pallet jacks is required.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Ability to pass a written equipment and safety quiz.
• Ability to pass a hands-on electric pallet jack driving skills test.
• Ability to read and understand product labels, safety instructions, and warehouse documentation.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Dependable attendance and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a warehouse team.
• Willingness to work overtime on Fridays when needed.

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, push, and pull throughout the shift.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Ability to safely handle products and materials according to job requirements.
• Ability to work around moving equipment, warehouse traffic, and varying temperatures.
• Must be able to wear all required personal protective equipment.

• Steel-toe work boots are required.
