2nd Shift Assembler

Location: Statesville, NC 28625
Schedule: Monday - Friday | 4:00 PM - 2:30 AM (willing to work Saturday when needed)
Pay: Starting at $18.00 per hour, with the opportunity to earn additional production-based pay based on performance.

Essential Responsibilities

• Assemble building components using hand and power tools.
• Read and interpret blueprints, production drawings, diagrams, and work orders.
• Measure, position, and secure materials accurately.
• Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are met.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily production goals.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in manufacturing, assembly, construction, carpentry, woodworking, or a similar hands-on environment is preferred but not required.
• Ability to read a tape measure accurately.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Comfortable operating hand tools and power tools.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus but not required.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift, carry, and move materials weighing 70 pounds or more on a regular basis, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull, and perform repetitive movements throughout a 10-hour shift.
• Ability to work in a physically demanding manufacturing environment.
• Comfortable working around machinery, wood products, sawdust, and varying temperatures common in a production facility.
