Availability: Weekend availability required
Job Summary
Alianza Staffing is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Room Attendant to support hotel housekeeping operations in the Myrtle Beach area. This position is responsible for cleaning and preparing guest rooms, maintaining hotel cleanliness standards, and helping provide a professional and welcoming guest experience.
The ideal candidate will have previous hotel housekeeping or professional cleaning experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Clean and prepare guest rooms according to established hotel standards
- Make beds, change linens, and restock towels, toiletries, and room supplies
- Clean bathrooms, floors, mirrors, furniture, and other guest room areas
- Maintain cleanliness of assigned work areas and housekeeping carts
- Report maintenance issues, damages, lost items, or safety concerns to management
- Follow all safety, sanitation, and cleaning procedures
- Communicate professionally with guests, supervisors, and team members
- Complete assigned rooms and tasks in a timely and consistent manner
Qualifications
- Previous hotel housekeeping or professional cleaning experience required
- At least 2 years of hotel housekeeping, hospitality cleaning, or similar experience preferred
- Strong communication skills required
- Bilingual skills are a plus
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions
- Must be available to work weekends as scheduled
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, lift, reach, and perform cleaning tasks throughout the shift
Dress Code Requirements
Employees must follow the required dress code while on assignment:
- Black slip-resistant shoes required
- Shoes must be closed-toe and closed-heel
- Crocs are not permitted
- Black pants required
- White polo shirt required
- Clothing must be free of visible logos
- Jeans are not permitted
