Position Summary

We are seeking dependable and hardworking Lumber Stackers to join a fast-paced manufacturing and production environment in Johnsonville, SC. This position involves stacking, organizing, and moving lumber throughout the facility while supporting daily production operations. The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, reliable, and comfortable performing physical labor in an active industrial setting.

Essential Job Duties

• Stack, organize, and move lumber according to production requirements
• Inspect lumber for quality issues and report defects or concerns to supervisors
• Maintain organized lumber inventory and work areas
• Follow all workplace safety procedures and PPE requirements
• Assist with loading, unloading, and transporting materials as needed
• Keep the work area clean and free of hazards
• Support team members and supervisors with general production tasks
• Meet daily production goals and attendance expectations

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing, lumber yard, warehouse, construction, or production experience preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong reliability and attendance record required
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Must have reliable transportation to and from work
• Steel-toe boots required
• Must be able to lift 70lbs or more consistently

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift, carry, and move lumber and other materials throughout the shift
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, and perform repetitive motions for extended periods
• Ability to work safely around moving equipment and production machinery
• Comfortable working in a warehouse or manufacturing environment with varying temperatures and production noise
