Electric Pallet Jack Operator (Walkie Rider) – 1st Shift

Location: Charlotte, NC 28273

Position Type: Full-Time

Shift: First Shift

Schedule: Monday–Friday, able to work overtime on Sunday if needed

Hours: 5:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Pay: $17.60 per hour

Position Overview

We are currently seeking experienced Electric Pallet Jack Operators (Walkie Riders) to join a fast-paced warehouse team in Charlotte, NC. This position is ideal for dependable individuals who have previous experience operating a Crown Electric Pallet Jack and are committed to working safely while meeting daily productivity goals.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Crown Electric Pallet Jack (Walkie Rider).
• Load, unload, transport, and stage products throughout the warehouse.
• Accurately move inventory to designated warehouse locations.
• Pick orders while maintaining productivity and accuracy.
• Handle corrugated materials and other warehouse products with care.
• Perform pre-shift equipment inspections.
• Report equipment issues immediately.
• Follow OSHA regulations and company safety policies.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Assist with additional warehouse duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required

• Minimum 3 years of recent experience operating a Crown Electric Pallet Jack (Walkie Rider).
• Previous warehouse or distribution center experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and work throughout a 10-hour shift.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Dependable attendance and reliable transportation.

Preferred

• Electric Pallet Jack certification.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish).
• Experience in high-volume warehouse operations.

Work Environment

• Fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Overtime may be required.
