1st Shift Crown Sit-Down Forklift Operator

Pay: $21.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 5:00 AM to 3:00 PM

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Crown Sit-Down Forklift Operator to support warehouse and distribution operations. This position is responsible for safely operating a Crown sit-down forklift, using RF scanning systems, and moving, loading, unloading, staging, and organizing products throughout the facility.

The ideal candidate will have at least three years of recent experience operating a Crown sit-down forklift, hands-on experience using RF scanners, a strong commitment to workplace safety, and a dependable work history.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Crown sit-down forklift in a warehouse environment
• Use RF scanning systems to track, locate, receive, and move inventory
• Accurately scan products, pallets, and warehouse locations
• Load and unload trailers, containers, and delivery vehicles
• Move, stage, stack, and organize products in designated warehouse areas
• Transport materials to production, shipping, and receiving locations
• Complete daily forklift inspections and report equipment concerns
• Follow inventory procedures and verify product quantities and locations
• Maintain accurate records of material movement
• Keep aisles, loading areas, and workspaces clean and organized
• Follow all safety policies, procedures, and warehouse guidelines
• Assist with general warehouse duties when forklift work is not required
• Meet daily productivity, quality, and attendance expectations

Required Qualifications

• At least three years of recent Crown sit-down forklift experience
• Recent experience using RF scanning systems
• Previous experience working in a warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing environment
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to safely and confidently operate a Crown sit-down forklift
• Ability to accurately scan, locate, and track inventory
• Ability to work Monday through Friday from 5:00 AM to 3:00 PM
• Must be available to work overtime, including additional hours or weekends when required
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Strong attention to safety, accuracy, and productivity
• Dependable attendance and reliable transportation
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit for extended periods while operating a forklift
• Ability to frequently bend, reach, stand, walk, push, and pull
• Ability to lift and move materials as required by the position
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment with varying temperatures and noise levels
• Ability to safely perform the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation
